How We Can
Work Together

Prenatal & Birth Support

Personalized support curated to your goals and comfort. I provide evidence-based assistance in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Informational Support

Helping you feel informed, prepared, and empowered.

In our prenatal sessions, you'll have dedicated time and space to explore what's weighing on you in regards to pregnancy & birth, different birthing positions to aid in the labour & delivery process, risks & benefits of different interventions, red flags to look out for, when to go to your birthing location, the stages of labour, different comfort measures to aid you in coping through labour, and your rights as a birthing person.

During labour & delivery, I will be there to support you and assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Personalized birth, postpartum, & coping plans

  • Evidence-based techniques

  • Personalized handouts & resources

Emotional Support

Emotional support when you need it most.

Pregnancy, labour & delivery can be filled with intense positive and negative emotions. Throughout our prenatal sessions, and labour & delivery, I will be there to guide and validate you through your experiences, maximizing your birth experience.

Doula support is linked to a LOWER risk of birth-related trauma and PTSD (Lai et al, 2025)

  • Compassionate, empathetic care

  • Personalized activities and information based on your biggest concerns

  • Continuous support throughout labour & delivery

Physical Support

Bringing comfort, relief, and calm through physical support.

During pregnancy, this can include comfort measures like positioning suggestions for sleep and rest, gentle movement guidance, and practical ways to ease common discomforts as your body changes. During labour and birth, physical support becomes continuous hands-on care tailored to your needs in the moment. This may include comfort techniques such as counter-pressure for contractions, massage, hip support, breathing and positioning support, and creating a calming environment that helps your body work more efficiently. The goal is to help you feel safe, relaxed, and physically supported so your labour can unfold with more comfort and confidence.

  • Personalized positions and activities to improve birth outcome & labour experience.

  • Massage, counter-pressure, & acupressure

  • Position-support

Postpartum Support

Postpartum support focuses on helping you adjust to life after birth with care, reassurance, and practical help during a time of major physical and emotional change.

Mental Health

A postpartum doula can play an important role in supporting mental health during the early weeks and months after birth, a time when emotions can feel intense, unfamiliar, and constantly changing.

The aim is to acknowledge & validate negative feelings, scary thoughts, and burn out, while assisting parents in setting mental health based goals, through consistent emotional presence and non-judgmental support,

  • Trauma Informed care

  • Consistent, compassionate, non-judgemental support

  • Personalized handouts & resources

  • Personalized activities based on setting goals and improving mental health

Baby Care

Sometimes, the most supportive thing for a new parent is the opportunity to truly rest. With a postpartum doula, that becomes possible. While you take time to sleep, recover, or care for yourself, your doula can attend to your baby with informed, attentive care—giving you peace of mind knowing your little one is in capable, trustworthy hands.

  • Prepping & giving bottles

  • Encouraging cognitive development

  • Putting baby to sleep

  • Changing diapers & bathing baby

  • Baby massage & burping

Postpartum healing

Whether you had a vaginal or cesarean birth, healing can be a challenge. Through informational, emotional, and physical support, a doula can provide you with comfort, non-medicated pain relief, and a easier recovery.

  • Massage

  • Exercises to promote healing

  • Personalized handouts & resources

  • Non-medicated tips & tricks to aid in recovery

Postpartum Education

Baby is born... now what? Whether or not you had taken prenatal education classes, it is easy to feel overwhelmed once baby arrives. A postpartum specializes in knowing tips and tricks to make baby care easier, as well as what is typical behaviour and what should require further assessment from a medical professional.

  • Breastfeeding & bottle prep

  • Sleep & soothing techniques

  • Burping & baby massage

  • Hormonal & psychological processes that occur postpartum

  • Nutrition in the postpartum period

  • And more!

Household Chores

When prioritizing baby, it's easy to let chores go ignored, until your house is a complete mess, and you have no clean underwear.

A doula can make this postpartum transition a little easier by doing your household chores, so that you can focus all your time on taking care of yourself and baby.

  • Basic cleaning (dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, etc)

  • Laundry

  • Sterilizing bottles, pumps, soothers, etc

  • Pet care (changing litter box, taking dog for a walk, etc)

  • Basic meal prep
