Born With Barakah
You're In the
Right Place If...
You want continuous, one-to-one support
A doula stays with you throughout labor or the postpartum period, offering steady emotional and physical support that complements medical care.
You want to feel informed and confident in your choices
Doulas provide evidence-based information and help you understand your options so you can make decisions that align with your values.
ā
You value emotional reassurance and calm presence
Birth and early parenthood can feel overwhelming. A doula offers grounding, reassurance, and encouragement during moments of uncertainty.
ā
You’re preparing for birth for the first time—or a different experience
Whether this is your first birth or you’re hoping for a more supported experience than before, a doula can help tailor care to your needs.
ā
You want culturally respectful and personalized care
Doulas honour cultural, religious, and personal values and adapt their support to what feels right for you and your family.
ā
You want support beyond the birth itself
Postpartum doulas help with emotional adjustment, newborn care education, feeding support, and the transition into parenthood, reminding you that you are not alone.

Megan Landy
I am a birth and postpartum doula, deeply passionate about supporting families through the miracle of birth and the transformative journey into parenthood!
I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-informed, and inclusive support. I am also fluent in French and have a BA in Psychology, which informs my holistic and emotionally attuned approach to care.
Apart from my work as a doula, I enjoy expressing creativity through henna art and crafts, spending time with animals, and cooking. I also love traveling and experiencing different cultures, traditions, and ways of life.
These passions have helped shape my warm, compassionate, and culturally mindful approach to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I have always felt deeply drawn to supporting people through some of the most emotional and transformative moments of their lives. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in a space where I could offer comfort, reassurance, and steady emotional support to others.
Over time, that passion naturally led me to the birthing world, where I feel honoured to walk alongside families during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period. Being able to combine emotional support with hands-on care in such a sacred and life-changing experience is something I truly value, and it is at the heart of the work I do today through Born With Barakah.

What
Clients Say
"For the first time postpartum, I was actually able to rest peacefully knowing my baby is in good hands"
"I was nervous about feeling comfortable during such a vulnerable time, but she made me feel completely safe, supported, and at ease from the start. She cared not only for my baby (who absolutely adores her!) but for me emotionally and physically as well. She also supported my husband through the process which meant so much to us as first time parents.
Megan made postpartum feel a lot less overwhelming, and I already know I'll be asking her to support me again for my next baby, I truly cannot recommend her enough."
